St Sunday. Pasteurised cows’ milk. 220g.
Based on the famous soft cheeses of the Alps, Reblochon and Vacherin, St Sunday has buttery-crème-fraiche richness and soft, glossy-texture. Using fabulous quality organic milk from James Robinson’s family farm in south Cumbria, local cheese-maker Martin Gott uses years’ worth of expertise to transform this rich milk into a supple cheese that rivals its French counterparts but has a hint of English terroir to it.
Hafod Cheddar. Unpasteurised cows’ milk, organic. 250g.
With only 65 Ayrshire cows, this clothbound Cheddar is made to a very traditional recipe, producing a cheese that is buttery and smooth, with that special Cheddar tang. At The Courtyard Dairy the best Hafod truckles are selected and further aged to 14-months. At this age the cheese retains its buttery flavours and develops a very special tang.
Sparkenhoe Vintage. Unpasteurised cows’ milk. 250g.
The only unpasteurised farmhouse Red Leicester made in the world. This Sparkenhoe Vintage is aged for 14 months which gives it a strong, powerful flavour.
Lanark Blue. Unpasteurised sheep’s milk, vegetarian. 250g.
An iconic farmhouse British cheese, this is Scotland’s answer to Roquefort; the rich sheep’s milk complemented by a strong, powerful blue veining. Lanark Blue was created in the 1980s and has become a modern classic.
Malted Barley Crackers. 100g.
Made by ‘Made in Oldstead’ these barley crackers have a rich flavour and crisp bite. Ingredients: Rye Wheat Flour, Plain Wheat Flour, Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil, Sesame Seeds, Malted Barley Wheat Grist 9%, Baking Powder, Salt.
Charcuterie. 2 x 55g+
Made by famous Ilkley butchers Lishman’s. In recent years this traditional family butchers has diversified using local outdoor reared Yorkshire pork to make some outstanding British charcuterie.
1 pack of the 6-month air-dried ham made from the back leg of a Yorkshire pig in a traditional York cure.
1 pack of Fennel Salame a classic Italian-style salame seasoned with fennel.
Three Choirs Rose. 750ml. 11.5% abv.
A fantastic rose wine from England, organic and spring-like with floral, zippy, elderflower flavour.
