A tutored cheese-tasting pack delivered via pre-recorded video, which is ideal for home-parties or small ‘zoom’ virtual events with friends in differing locations.
A varied cheeseboard featuring six different cheeses, enough for two people, of the finest farmhouse British cheese (Dorstone Goats’, Yoredale Wensleydale, Hafod Cheddar, Baron Bigod Brie, Aged Old Winchester, Young Buck Blue), delivered to any address nationwide, together with a tasting sheet, scorecard, map and flavour wheel.
Andy Swinscoe, former World Cheesemonger of the Year, will guide you on a pre-recorded video as you taste six of the very best British cheeses, explaining their flavours, their histories and why a good cheesemonger would be delighted with them.
You’ll soon see why The Courtyard Dairy has won so many awards (including BBC Food & Farming Award, World Cheese Award, Observer Food Monthly Award, Daily Telegraph’s Top 10 Cheese Shops in the World), as Andy guides you through the interesting details of each cheese.
The pack has enough cheese for 2-4 people to enjoy at home. Friends and family can join the tasting via your own video conference if they buy a pack for their household. The virtual cheese-tasting video lasts 30 minutes.
There is an option in the drop down to match wine or beer to enjoy at the same time. The cheeses tasted may differ from those pictured.

In this delivery you will receive the cheeses to be tasted, plus a tasting sheet, scorecard, pairing guidance, map and flavour wheel, as well as the TinyURL link, enabling you to view a 30-minute engaging pre-recorded video guiding all participants through your cheese tasting, which you can share with multiple participating households using zoom. The video covers tasting the cheeses one at a time, giving the background and stories, and a brief history of British cheeses, as well as answering some frequently asked questions such as ‘is the rind edible?’, ‘what is unpasteurised cheese?’, etc.)
Please order packs separately for each household if more than one household will be enjoying the same tasting.
Special requests (such as no goats’, vegetarian only, no blue cheese) can be accommodated, but some of the cheeses may not then be covered on the pre-recorded videos.
Delivery to a UK mainland address is included.

Ingredients in cheeses: Milk, salt, cheese cultures (egg in Lysosome in Old Winchester) and rennet.

Just had the cheese tasting with video explanation. Andy on the video was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and gave us a greater appreciation of cheese making in the UK. The real stars of the show were the cheeses themselves. All absolutely delicious. Enough for a tasting for four people. Highly recommended as an experience

We thoroughly enjoyed the home cheese tasting pack, we bought the wine to accompany it as recommended in the pre recorded video. There were 4 of us and there was ample cheese for all to taste.
Don’t usually buy blue or goats cheese but decided not to pre judge and didn’t deselect them from the pack.
Have to say all of the cheeses were excellent, loved the textures and depth of flavours in them.(hark at me sounding like I know what I’m talking about)
The goats cheese was so light and delicately flavoured and the blue was the best I’ve ever tasted. If we had to choose a favourite it would be the old Winchester, it was packed with flavour, the Brie was as good as anything I have ever had.
The video was informative and interesting and it was useful to be able to pause it and discuss what we thought of each one between servings.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience and I would recommend any cheese lover to try it
