Spiced Plum Chutney

Dark, and richly spiced


This dark, richly-spiced chutney has notes of plum and clove, ginger and allspice with a gentle acidity and sweetness that helps cut through even the richest of cheeses.
Great with all strong cheeses, but particularly good with blue cheese.

Elspeth Biltoft started making preserves in 1989, since when she has become renowned as one of the best chutney and jam makers in the country. Her success has a lot to do with the quality of the ingredients she uses (and only then when they’re in season). Combined with that ethos of selecting only the best and most natural ingredients is a dedication towards quality which shines through all of Rosebud’s products.

Ingredients: Plums (49%), onions, apples, raisins, unrefined sugar, malt vinegar (barley), fresh garlic, sea salt, ground ginger, allspice, ground cloves, cinnamon.
