This wine matching pack for cheese contains, 250ml of each of the following:
- Pineau D’Aunis (2021). 11.5% abv.
Made by Nicolas Parmentier in the Loire Valley, this cool climate and unusual grape variety produces a distinctive rose wine that has juicy berry flavours, white pepper notes and a fresh bright acidity. Quite different for a rose. - Gamay / Pinot Noir (2020). 13% abv.
Made Elinor Roux in the Auvergne blending Gamay and Pinot Noir give a smooth red with smoky succulent notes; echoes of the great red wines of Burgundy. - Late Harvest Chenin Blanc (2021). 12.5% abv.
Made by Chales Eusebe Biotteau in the Loire Valley. Spring frosts in 2021 devastated their crop of grapes. The remaining grapes that were left ripened slower and therefore more concentrated in flavour. Picked late as a result they produced a fabulous naturally sweet wine with a balanced acidity.
