Vacherin Mont d’Or. Unpasteurised cows’ milk. 500g.
Only made seasonally (in the winter) this cheese is hedonistic: powerful, rich and often running out of the box! The Vacherin Mont d’Or selected by The Courtyard Dairy is made by one of the most outstanding producers in the region – Sancey-Richard – and then extra-aged by MonS Fromages.
When Vacherin is out of season we will replace with a similar & suitable alternative of equal weight and value.
Etivaz. Unpasteurised cows’ milk. 200g.
A step-back in time, Etivaz remains true to the ancient traditions of Alpine cheese making, and showcases how Gruyère would have been made hundreds of years ago. Made only in the months of May to October in small Alpine chalets, the milk is sourced from cows that graze the high-mountain pasture. An outstanding example of traditional cheese making.
Gorgonzola Dolce. Pasteurised cows’ milk. 250g.
Marco makes one of the finest Gorgonzolas Dolce’s available: rich, winey and luscious, with just a subtle hint of blue.
This product will have two weeks shelf life from the date of delivery. Conveniently, at checkout you can choose a delivery date even well in the future if you would like your cheese delivering for a specific event.
